Coming to an End...
The school year is coming to an end, but that doesn't mean no more books to read... The Upshur County Library is offering a LOT of great activities this summer ranging from storytellers and magicians to origami and more!!! While you are there, be sure to check out the books they have to offer!! Check your report card envelope for more information.
Also, over the summer, keep collecting Box Tops. We use them to purchase a variety of things for our students. Enjoy the summer... We will have another GREAT year next year!!

Alternative Energy
Fifth grade science students came to the library last week to learn more about different types of energy sources. Some of those sources included wind, solar, geothermal, and more! Students learned the positives and some drawbacks to each type of alternative energy. Before leaving they came up with questions about things they are still curious about.
